Dear Parents,

We have found out that the parts for our broken boiler and the work required will be completed on Tuesday. Unfortunately this means that school wll be closed to pupils on Monday and Tuesday. This is necessary as the school will be unheated and temperatures are expected to drop and pupil welfare is paramount. Teachers have put work suggestions for pupils on the website (Children - Working from Home).

Thank you for your understanding.

My thanks to our wonderful pupils, families, staff and all within our St John's family for helping us to achieve GOOD in our Ofsted inspection in June.

Many thanks to our artist friend Taysa-Ja for creating the fabulous picture to accompany our school vision smileyshown below.

Last month I was fortunate to meet with the Archbishop of Canterbury and tell him about our wonderful new school church plant, which is held here at school on the last Sunday of every month. This month one of our own families will be baptised at school.

We are proud to be the first Medway school to join the National School Breakfast Programme.

What's Coming Up...

It is with very great pleasure that I can let you know, that we have grown as an academy because St James’ Primary Academy Trust has chosen to join MAST from 1st January 2019.

We have started a petition with the local authority to request a safe crossing for our children and families on Ordnance Street - please support us by signing the petition online or calling into the school office to sign our paper copy.

The petition is active on the Medway Council website at the page below.
