We have enjoyed playing and learning outdoors, and we loved going on an autumn walk.  We found collecting conkers great fun, and throwing all the leaves in the air made us all laugh so much.  We discovered that sycamore seeds look like helicopters when they fall, and that pumpkins have lots of small seeds inside them.  We are all looking forward to performing the Harvest songs at our Harvest service in church – a wonderful way to end our first term at school!

Welcome to Rabbit Class

Term one has been filled with many new adventures as the children have settled into school life, and everyone has made lots of new friends and found their feet around our lovely little school.

In Maths we have been learning how to count and recognise numbers to ten.  We have been on numbers hunts around the school, and have practised counting with our favourite song – Zero Superhero!  We have all worked really hard in phonics, learning lots of songs to help us remember the sounds each letter makes, and most of us can already write lots of these letters.
