Term 3

We have been learning about...

In term 3 in English we have been enjoying some great stories such as Mrs Honey’s Hat and The Little Red Hen. Based on these stories we have been really concentrating on writing sentences using our phonics and the correct punctuation.

In Maths we have been getting to grips with addition, subtraction and shape.

We really enjoyed learning about Charles Dickens in History he is a famous author who lived very near to our school!

We have started learning the songs for our Music Festival at The Central Theatre in March, which we hope all our special grown-ups will attend.

What Else Happened This Term?

Highlights of the term include the Winter Wonderland lunch prepared by Donna. We all made hats to wear for lunch and Donna decorated the kitchen and cooked delicious food. It was great fun.

We have had the Family Trust organisation in to lead worship, and we heard the story of the feeding of the 5000. This was one of the miracles that Jesus performed. We joined in with games, songs and prayers.

We are now looking forward to half term and recharging our batteries and getting rid of all our coughs and colds ready for a busy term 4!
