Term 4

We are wild about animals!

This term our topic was 'Wild Animals!'  We research different animals and created reports about them.  As well as reading and writing non-fiction, we looked closely at The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl and used this as inspiration to create our own funny stories about a wild creature.  We also wrote instructions and enjoyed following our instructions to make some yummy sandwiches. In science we have been finding out all about the different habitats in which creatures live.  We have been learning about shapes and money in maths and tackling some very tricky word problems.

What else happened this Term?

We had fantastic fun celebrating World Book Day.  Many thanks to our wonderful parents and carers who helped us dress up as book characters for the day.  We enjoyed reading stories, taking part in a book quiz, listening to different adults tell us stories and reading with Rabbit class.

We were very excited about performing in the singing festival at Central Theatre in Chatham. Mrs Brown says we are the best singing class she has ever taught!

We would like to thank Mrs Leak and Mrs Ballard for helping us make and eat lots of pancakes on Pancake Day.

We hope everyone enjoyed listening to us read the Easter story at our Easter Service at Emmaus church.  Happy Easter everyone!
